Pixar has released the first official Hoppers teaser trailer, previewing its upcoming mind-bending movie about jumping into the minds of animals.
What happens in the Hoppers teaser trailer?
The teaser trailer for Hoppers follows animal lover Mabel (Piper Curda), who takes the opportunity to test out new technology that lets people “hop” into the minds of animals. After jumping into the mind of a beaver, Mabel finds the ability to communicate with animals and more.

Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong from a script co-written by Chong and Jesse Andrews. Alongside Curda, Hoppers also stars Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan. Further voice cast for the film has not yet been revealed.
“Scientists have discovered how to ‘hop’ human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals! Using the new technology, Mabel (Curda) will uncover mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
“In ‘Hoppers,’ the question we’re answering is: ‘What if we could understand and communicate with the animal world?’” said Chong in a statement. “Our main character, Mabel, gets to discover the animal kingdom as an animal, which can be weird and often hilarious. Mabel undercover in the animal world leads to a wild, roller coaster ride of a movie, with all the heart you expect from a classic Pixar film. It’s going to be so much fun to watch in the theater; I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
