Here’s when Season 3 arrives, where it originally aired, and what fans can expect next.

Here’s Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3’s Netflix release date

Internal scheduling information confirms that Netflix will release Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3 in the United States on August 11, 2025.

Netflix has secured the rights to stream the series in the US through at least August 2027. This release follows the show’s addition of Seasons 1 and 2 on July 8, 2025, which quickly pushed the series to the number 1 spot on the US Netflix charts.

In Canada, Netflix began streaming Sullivan’s Crossing on April 24, 2025, where it stayed in the top 10 for 24 consecutive days. The show originally airs on CTV, with The CW airing new episodes in the US shortly after their Canadian broadcast. Season 3 premiered on April 27, 2025, and concluded on June 22, 2025, with 10 episodes. The CW currently streams all three seasons.

Season 3 begins with Maggie attempting to settle into her new life following the aftermath of a fire. Filming for Sullivan’s Crossing takes place in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

CTV confirmed the show’s future beyond Season 3 by officially renewing Sullivan’s Crossing for Season 4 in June 2025. Production will run from August 7 to November 25, 2025. CTV plans to air Season 4 in Spring 2026, and Netflix may stream it by summer 2026.

Meanwhile, Netflix will remove all 16 seasons of Heartland from its US library in the coming weeks. Virgin River, also based on Robyn Carr’s novels, secured a Season 8 renewal ahead of its Season 7 release, expected in December 2025 or early 2026.
