John Wick Video Game Being Delisted Soon

An award-winning RPG went full price on PS5, PS4 ahead of being delisted from all online storefronts on short notice. Renowned developer Mike Bithell’s John Wick Hex is suddenly being pulled from sale and was heavily discounted up until recently.

John Wick video game is being delisted on July 17

Current publisher Big Fan Games made the announcement of John Wick Hex’s delisting over on Steam, and noted that the game is being removed permanently.

“Existing owners of John Wick Hex will still be able to access the game via their digital libraries (PC/Console) and/or physical copies (Console), however new purchases of John Wick Hex will not be possible, regardless of platform or storefront,” the notice reads.

A reason for the delisting was not given, but we’re assuming that this is a case of license expiry. Still, it doesn’t make sense for the publisher to give such a short notice and for the game to be full price just before it’s pulled from sale permanently.

On the PS Store specifically, the game is often $3.99 but is currently $19.99. The game costs the same on Xbox, but is going for $8.19 on Steam and $3.99 on Humble.

Worth noting that online store prices are typically set by publishers.
