Eyes of Wakanda has yet to premiere on Disney+, but showrunner Todd Harris has already hinted about the possibility of a second season of the show.
What is the latest Eyes of Wakanda Season 2 update?
Speaking to SFX magazine recently, Harris was asked about the possibility of a second season of the show. With the first season premiering on August 27, 2025, Harris said that “there’s always more” of the story to tell, and that the people behind the show are always creating. Harris also joked that, when it comes to Marvel, it’s likely they will want to keep things going.
“There are always more stories,” Harris said. “No artist, no writer, no anybody ever does too little when it comes to creativity. I’ve never seen anyone turn in the script and go, ‘It just wasn’t long enough!’ So yeah, we definitely have more in the tank. And it’s Marvel. There’s always more.”

“Marvel Animation’s new action-adventure series Eyes of Wakanda follows the adventures of brave Wakandan warriors throughout history,” the synopsis for the show reads. “In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze, and this is their story.”
Ryan Coogler, who directed 2018’s Black Panther and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, serves as an executive producer on Eyes of Wakanda. Other executive producers include Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kalia King, Todd Harris, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt.
The show’s voice cast features Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose.
