Wednesday, July 16, 2025, brings two projects to Paramount Plus – The Challenge: All Stars Season 5 and Max and the Midknights Season 1.
The Challenge: All Stars Season 5 originally premiered on MTV on January 29, 2025. It ran for 12 episodes until April 16, 2025. This season’s cast comprises a total of 26 stars from other reality shows like The Real World, Road Rules, Are You the One?, Big Brother, Ex on the Beach, Survivor, Shipwrecked, and 12 Dates of Christmas.
In this fifth season, the contestants are paired with their past enemies and rivals. The team members of each team realize that to win the ultimate cash prize of $300,000, they must put aside their differences and work together to surmount over-the-top challenges.
Meanwhile, Max and the Midknights is a sci-fi, fantasy animated series created by Sharon Flynn and David Skelly. It originally premiered on Nickelodeon on October 30, 2024. The show follows Max, a 10-year-old girl who aspires to become a knight. She takes her friends on various thrilling adventures, where they battle all sorts of monsters and threats.
Finally, Thursday, July 17, sees Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 dropping on Paramount Plus. The third season finds Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and the U.S.S. Enterprise crew dealing with the aftermath of their horrifying encounter with the Gorn. Besides Mount, the series’ cast includes Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Rebecca Romijn.
