Blackpink members Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa were caught in a controversy after they were heard saying the N word in their alleged pre-debut videos. The said clips, which were uploaded by a YG leaker, have caused commotion on the internet as fans of the K-Pop girl group are left divided.

According to reports, the alleged pre-debut clips of the Blackpink members made their way to the internet through a YG leaker recently.
As these aforementioned videos hit social media, members Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé became the topic of discussion after they were heard singing the N word. The idols were reportedly singing covers in these clips, the lyrics of which had the term.
While some fans are coming to the singers’ defense, saying that the videos seem old, others are calling out the three K-Pop idols for covering such songs. Additionally, more fans have expressed their anger toward the agency, YG Entertainment, for making the singers, who were minors at that time, sing songs with racial slurs.
The alleged pre-debut videos were released by a reported leaker, whose identity remains unknown. The YG leaker, as per Koreaboo, claims to be an ex-employee of YG Entertainment. They were also allegedly fired by the agency.
Additionally, the leaker made a Discord channel on which they posted the leaks related to the K-pop industry. In a screenshot fans shared on X (formerly Twitter), the leaker also claims to possess classified data related to numerous K-pop agencies. This includes names like HYBE, YG, SM, and more.
